Precision Manufacturing & Custom Height
All tonearm tower components are manufactured on my in-house CNC machine to the highest manufacturing tolerances. This ensures a perfect fit between all components and consistently high build quality across every assembly.
As a one-person business, I manufacture each tonearm tower individually to the customer's exact specifications. The tower can be produced in any required height, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with the platter height of virtually any turntable.
Dual-Layer Faraday Cage: Comprehensive RF, EMC & LF Shielding
The core of the tonearm tower is designed as a continuously grounded, two-layer Faraday cage. It combines an outer galvanized steel tube for shielding against low-frequency magnetic fields, such as transformer-induced mains hum, with an inner high-strength aluminium tube designed to dissipate high-frequency interference from sources such as Wi-Fi, mobile phones, and other electromagnetic emissions.
Together with the tonearm ground, all shielding layers are connected using a star-grounding configuration. External interference is therefore effectively intercepted before it can affect the sensitive phono signal.
Maximum Flexibility & Decoupled Installation
The freestanding design provides complete freedom when positioning and precisely aligning the tonearm tower relative to the turntable. Because there is no direct mechanical connection to the turntable plinth, the tonearm is effectively isolated from potential vibrations generated by the turntable motor.
To make this flexibility easy to use in practice, a specially developed spacing tool is included, allowing the spindle-to-pivot distance to be determined quickly and precisely.
Low Center of Gravity & Exceptional Stability
For maximum stability and highly effective absorption of low-frequency vibrations, the base section is filled with a high-density mixture of lead shot encapsulated in epoxy. This shifts the center of gravity significantly downward, providing an exceptionally solid foundation.
An anti-slip rubber base on the underside ensures secure placement and optimal mechanical coupling without unwanted movement.
Modular Top-Plate System
The upper mounting plate is removable and interchangeable, allowing multiple tonearms or different geometries to be used on the same tower. Additional top plates can be supplied on request for a small surcharge.
A damping layer integrated between the top plate and chassis absorbs fine micro-vibrations before they reach the tonearm base.
Clean Signal Path & Star Grounding
For a clean signal path and straightforward integration into an existing system, the rear panel features high-quality RCA terminals and a central grounding connection, enabling seamless star grounding of the tonearm tower and tonearm.
