Thorough Lenco Turntable Restoration
Your Lenco turntable deserves more than just a quick tune-up — it deserves a proper restoration. That’s why I completely disassemble the unit to thoroughly service the motor and main bearing.
Removal of old, often hardened grease
Full cleaning of all parts
Application of the correct lubricants:
High-temperature grease for motor bearings
Special turntable oil for smooth performance
Before the motor is reinstalled, it runs for at least 60 minutes on my test station to ensure the new grease settles perfectly.
Fully cleaned with attention to every detail
Platter edge polished to a mirror-like high gloss
Tonearm lift mechanism cleaned, repaired, and adjusted
Ferrule sleeves added to motor terminals for better long-term reliability
New V-blocks from Pickupnaalden (no soft rubber substitutes!)
- available for a small additional fee
Speed is recalibrated for precise playback
Visual and mechanical condition restored to near-new
After the restoration, your Lenco will not only sound amazing - it will look and feel like new, ready for another 40 years of music.
Please note: I do not accept severely rusted turntables.
